The Latest here at the Cottage

Hello everyone! It seems my schedule for this blog/newsletter has shifted to the middle of the month instead of the first of the month. LOL !! I guess that’s OK. Summer is winding down, days are shorter and some leaves have started falling here in our area. Cooler nights and more thunderstorms grace the sultry afternoons. And confusion seems to be running rampant in the country. I thought that going to 1 day a week would help get more things done, and it has to a point, but we just keep running into situations that have to be resolved. Happy July to all. I hope y’all had a wonderful and safe 4th celebrations. We had a fairly quiet one. We sat out in the screened in porch and watch the neighbors fireworks. I apologize for the radio silence for the last 2 months. 😏 Life has been really crazy for me. It’s been difficult adjusting to a new schedule. It is rough sometimes, trying to get your equilibrium. As strange as that sounds, having the shop open 1 day a week, has been a complete rearrangement of my schedule and routine. So writing the blog/newsletter kind of fell thru the cracks. Sorry. Hello Spring…………….. I guess. For us it has been very weird. And I hear it’s like that in many other places as well. Cold one day and hot the next. Freak storms and wind, wind, and more wind for months now. :( It’s making it pretty hard to do anything outside. We are trying to find our equilibrium with our new schedule of only being open on Saturdays. Changing rhythms is always hard and we’ve had a bunch of interruptions and delays.
