Batiks are each a unique and individual art piece. Each bolt is completely done by hand. No two are ever the same. Versatile and easy to work with. Batiks today are using a different base cloth, softer and more workable.  Batiks may contain the occasional wax spot, remaining from the stamping process.  This is usually removed by washing. For stubborn wax spots, use a hot iron and a sacrificial pressing cloth.
