100% DUPIONI SILK, 44/45" wide

Rich red warp threads and pink weft threads combine to make a shimmering, holographic color, showing different shades depending on the light. Dupioni silk has a "raw" look, with uneven thread sizes and "slubbs" occasionally in the weave. It makes exquisite embroidered pillow tops, stunning skirts, dresses, holiday wear and evening gowns. (it even talks to you as you move). It's also attractive in lovely pants or tops. And of course, it's elegant enough for wedding dresses. Can be machine washed but will loose it's body. That can be restored with ironing and starch. Dry cleaning is recommended.
