Hello loyal friends and Sewists,I didn’t realize that my last newsletter/blog post was last August. Where does the time go?? It seems to be harder and harder for me to juggle everything. Happy July to all. I hope y’all had a wonderful and safe 4th celebrations. We had a fairly quiet one. We sat out in the screened in porch and watch the neighbors fireworks. LOL!  By 10 pm we were peacefully in bed asleep. The wonderful thing about where we live is the peace and quiet at night. I apologize for the radio silence for the last 2 months. 😏 Life has been really crazy for me. It’s been difficult adjusting to a new schedule. It is rough sometimes, trying to get your equilibrium. As strange as that sounds, having the shop open 1 day a week, has been a complete rearrangement of my schedule and routine. So writing the blog/newsletter kind of fell thru the cracks. Sorry. As summer winds down and schools are back in session, our thoughts turn back to our sewing projects and holidays. Halloween is next and I know there are lots of y’all out there that love Halloween. It’s my oldest daughter’s favorite holiday. She goes all out for the whole month of October, several changes of costumes and complete decorations inside and out. I know some of y’all do the same. Is it hot enough for you ?!?!?!? It seems that July has apologized this morning, for being so brutal, with the brief rain shower. It’s been a weird year for weather. Unusual winter and spring and now a record hot summer. I hope y’all are staying cool. At home, we built a nice screened in porch to enjoy, but it’s been too HOT to use it.
